Hello, TZfootfairy!
Thank you so much for theΒ !
As promised for following me on deviantART, I will be giving you feedbacks, suggestions, and constructive criticisms.
So, I looked through your gallery, and I feel like you have a potential to create very unique pieces. I can see that you mostly submit works that you have sketched in your sketchbook, which is perfectly fine. But I feel like there should be less of that, because it makes your gallery look dull. In order to make your gallery and your art come to life, there should be a lot of colors in them. You should try to post more artworks that has colors in them. I like how you are already coloring using digital media. And I would love to see more of that in the long run. It doesn't have to be colored from digital media, but it could also be colored with colored pencils as well.Β
Another thing. You should crop out the extra white background if you want to center your piece on the character(s). Even better, try adding a background too so your pieces will stand out! Last, but not least, my huge suggestion would be utilizing your colors, whether digitally or traditionally. Secondly, this community and outside of this community has TONS of tutorials that you can take a look at to learn from and to follow!
This shouldn't make you feel down, however, for this is for your own growth as an artist.
I selected 5 of your best pieces to showcase in my newest journal feature called "Project: Expose Me!" Your 5th piece will be selected. Once it is posted, please share it to your friends who do art so they maybe featured in the future too!
Take good care of yourself, keep up the good work, and keep practicing!
Sincerely,
MariaDiAvvenire
