Though I'm sure that Elliot is dead.. i think that Reo probably will contract him down in the Abyss. I just don't think that's the last we've seen of him. As for Vincent... he's a tortured character. He seems to think that the tragedy 100 years ago was all his fault. or was brought on by him. And he loves gilbert so much that he wants to have never existed because he thinks he was so bad.

Again, sorry for the super late reply... This time I was on vacation in Greece, and my stupid friend wouldn't let me use her iPad. -_-*
Eh...apparently I'm a cyber bully... ;_; The girl is dumb... I posted a status on Facebook that referred to her, and since she hates me she printed it off and took it to our school policeman and accused me of cyber bullying. Nothing happened legally, but my parents still punished me anyway. You know I would never intentionally be mean to someone... right? TT_TT

But aaaaanywaaaay... My opinion of Vincent is totally changed after that chapter. I feel sorry for him now, and I like him. When he stood up against Elliot's dad (although that's a bit of an understatement...), I instantly decided I like him. And his talking about not wanting to exist for Gilbert... yeah... I like him now. And I take back what I said about the whole one chain per person thing. Vincent proved me wrong. In a really awesome way. But I agree, I don't think that's the last we'll see of Elliot. He got really important just to be killed off if we don't.

no problem my friend. and welcome back!! Sorry for my tardiness in responses lately. I've been really busy. We just put on an Opera here. Augh. my voice hurts. ^_^ But i don't see how that's really cyber bullying. And even still why the heck would it count with your school police if it hadn't had anything to do about school? I get the impression that you are a very caring person and that you wouldn't intentionally hurt someone just for the sake of hurting them.

I always liked Vincent well enough. i knew that there was some back story to his doucheyness. But i do like how he 'stood up against Elliot's dad.' Because that is Vincent's way of standing up against something. if you kill it... there's nothing left to stand up against... so you don't have to worry.
Though, i knew about the not having more chains than one. Because first off, Break originally had the white knight chain before he went to the Abyss, and now he has the Mad Hatter. It was explained earlier on in the manga that in order to form a contract the chains have to be compatible with the contractor otherwise it won't work. So Break was compatible with more than one chain, he just had only contracted one at a time. Unless he had Hatter then too, but there was nothing to prove that he did at that point.
Another thing about that is that Glen Baskerville's soul is made up of five different chains. The five main house's chains are each a portion of Glen's soul. Though Jack is supposed to have one of them.

And if that was the last we saw of elliot i would have to cry. Because they just built him up, just to kill him off.
... or the built him up to give Reo character developement.... but nyeh. I'm in denial about that. I refuse to believe that Elliot is gone for good until the end of the series or i see him again. Whichever comes first.
