Haha, well I know that feeling well. I only really got into making maps last year during my final year at Uni, so know how much of a distraction they can be from work!

Good luck with the rest of the term and I look forwards to seeing what you come up with over the summer. By your avatars, I'm guessing you're a Totoro (the middle, blue Totoro's my favourite ) and cat lover, so perhaps a map about the adventures of the Catbus would be just the ticket?

I always love your maps and your artwork in general, so I definitely wanted to see if I could find you on here. I've been rather hesitant starting up a DeviantArt account, but finally thought I'd take the plunge. By the way, I've got the rather boring name of GLS on the guild, so if you see it about that's me! And you definitely have commented in the past and vice versa I'm sure.

Look forwards to seeing what else crops up here and on the Guild!

GLS! Of course! My memory is absolutely terrible at names and faces... and a large portion of everything else, haha. I knew I had seen your maps before, though.

I'm working on a bunch of new stuff at the moment, though not as many maps; I'm attempting to stay away from the guild more so I can focus on developing a bunch of paintings... it's sort of working, but maps have tendency to sidetrack me easily, so you probably won't have to wait too much longer to see some more.

No worries! I know what you mean with the maps sometimes, though yours are always like, no they are, glorious paintings anyway!

I managed somewhat to find a balance point between workday hours and a bit of map-view bookmark sketching later in the evening the last few nights... hopefully I don't tip the balance too far. Mapping is very addictive.
