Badges are pretty much worthless to be honest. They introduced it as something in place of "LIKE" buttons, so when you give someone a llama it means you "like" that person. I love all my watchers, that's why I give a llama to everybody.... Some people trade llamas for points. That is kinda stupid, cos if you buy llamas for money, it's kinda like buying likes on facebook . Not wanna judge anybody tho.

Deviant points are a form of currency on deviantart. You have to buy it with real money, and can be used here on deviantart to buy artworks and other stuff, like core membership.

Hm cause I think it said something about needing to spend deviant points to give a badge or something… I don't remember exactly but I do remember being scared cause I don't want to accidentally lose money or something…

You can't accidentaly lose money as far as I know. Not if you don't have points on your account. But ofc you should be careful
