Just out of curiosity, why are you going by "Davie" all of a sudden?

It's just a cosplay name. Β I would rather differentiate between my cosplay life and my regular life, you know? Β And Davie is more fitting than Tegan is.

Yeah, that makes sense. I'm sorry if asking this makes me an ass, but would it be ok if I still called you Tegan, at least for a while? I haven't known you as anything else the entire time I've been friends with you, and it'll take a bit to get used to referring to this profile by a different name.

D: What's been goin on?

I apologize, but can I vent for a paragraph? You don't even have to read it; I just want to type it.
I've been working on a student film that I wrote. I was kept on to do the Production Design too, because the director told me she wanted it to be my vision. But that was a total lie - the story has been rewritten without my input a million times, the sets have been redesigned at the last second - everything has been taken away from me. It doesn't even resemble the original idea anymore. I have had no input on my own story and had to throw out all my artistic ideas and just do what everyone else wants, but my name is still going to be on it and I'm still going to get credit for it. We're way behind schedule, really rushed, I am unbelievably stressed out, NOTHING is going the way I want it to, my ideas are being repressed, and it's just making me hate everything I've loved ever since I was a little kid.

Yeah. It's not fair at all. Well, I've talked to people about it, but the reality is, she's the one in charge and I have to get over it and stop acting like a whining 5-year-old. Apparently, this is what the entire film industry is like, so I guess I have to get used to it. Thank GOD we finally finished filming today. The nightmare has ended. (Oh, and the best part was when we built an entire set, spending hundreds of dollars on paint and cardboard and paper, part of it fell, and instead of letting me easily fix it and finish it, she made us tear the entire thing down and create an entirely different look THE DAY BEFORE WE STARTED SHOOTING.)
