You might say all fanart is illegal; but most of the artists allow fanart as long the one making fanart won't gain anything financially. You have knowingly crossed this line.
There's no justifying your act on selling vector at Red*ubble or any art selling site. 

I have read many similar cases to you who use vector graphics to trace others' artwork to sell it as their own. They all were sued at some point. You're one heck of a example who's doing it right now.

I only willingly reported you to authorities for selling their goods without right to do so.

I have always known that the icons I do aren't my own.
I just share them free for hobby purposes. I never intended to use them commercially, not now nor in the future. 

And I wasn't the first who started this idea of making icons for anime series. First was Crussong (he still makes icons for games) then there was his friend DevilL-Dante  who started to make anime icons. I was merely the third one to start making these; after that came others (or so I think in my mind).
I am not saying we were first to do these icons there have always been those folder shaped like icons around that use that one guys' folder templates. We were probably first on DeviantArt who started to make those "cut-out icons". 

Crussong hasn't still received any take-down-notices either even though there have been people reporting him. I can deduce that companies and artist don't give a damn because we use their art to make mere customizing icon for people to use. What do they have to lose? We're not the ones uploading anything commercially. 
Crussong has made icons since dawn of times before I even was a member on DeviantArt. He's still around, why is that. And he is probably a professional designer right now in real life if I am not wrong. 

It was not my idea to start this group or this phenomenon. I am merely only active administrator who has still somehow managed the group (poorly if I am honest). I was asked to be one of the co-founders.

If I had full rights from duckne55 , I wouldn't hesitate to disband this group at any given moment. Right now I can't stop this group or people in it even if I wanted.

Doesn't say anywhere they are mine. I'm the worst? We are both doing the same thing except I listed on red and you listed here. The only difference is I'm removing them and your not and saying you will remove them if asked is beyond one sided cause mi could say that too since redbubble does ask.

seems like you still don't wanna admit if you sold it.
just because no one buy it from you doesn't mean it cannot be considered as a sale.
you listed it on redb*bble, then that's mean you sold it even no ones buyed it yet.
you listed it = you sold it.
it being sold = you got the money
it not being sold = you got nothing
which mean even no ones buy it, you didn't loss anything.
just remove it already, i'm begging you.

I personally did hire a lawyer to sue you. I recommend you to do so too. I am pretty sure that I am gonna win you on this as I have the cutting edge. I haven't sold anything using others' art.

Haha, I personally reported our group to DMCA lawsuit and told our part on this case.
We don't wish to use these icons as our selling product as you do while using the icons we (as ridiculous as it sounds), created in our free time as hobby.

I told them there's a person who uses our illegally made icons as his own selling products even though we wish him not do so. We only make icons for free for hobby purposes, not to sell them.
We don't own any rights to the art we use to "create these icons". Still I don't get your reasoning: why do you think you can use others' art (meaning animation studios'/artists' property) as your own commercially. You haven't probably gotten permission (meaning you have paid them to get marketing rights) from them.

You have the one most fault here, not us. We don't sell others' art; we don't use their artwork commercially. We only use others' art for our own and others' enjoyment. If the Studios wish us to cease sharing the icons, I personally will do so. I don't think I have caused them any financial lose; it's the opposite.
