All through summer, I've been following the daily rhytm of a patch of flowers like the one in your image, from them opening their petals in the morning to greet the sun and follow it through the day and finally closing their petals again for the night only to begin the dance again the next day.
I've been thinking every day as I walked past them that I wanted to take a picture of them, but never did. Your picture has that feeling of light opening out of darkness that they also had, the sensuality of it. Being reminded of it is rather nice, so I do think it would be silly not to add it to my favourites, since it actually is one of my favourite images and reminds me of something beautiful.

I'm glad to hear that. Both that it inspires good luck, but also that the general consensus isn't considered as an authority by you... it usually doesn't deserve having that status at all. To bad that it so often get that status anyway.
Maybe I should change it into Le Chat Noir to send a more positive cultural vibration along with it.

It makes all the sense in the world. The world is full of mirrors and far too many people get caught by their own reflection, seeing only themselves in whatever they look at.. seeing only their desires, their fears, their hope and their urges reflected in things that could otherwise have shown them something they hadn't seen before and tell them something about the world and themselves they didn't know already.
Never apologise for form or language; it's always intent and content that's important. Empty form is just noise. Looks nice and sounds nice, but has the same effect on the mind as McDonald's Happy Meal has on the stomack; feeling full and bloated, but still feeling quite empty at the same time. Besides, I hadn't noticed anything bad about your English. Looks absolutely perfect to me. Not that I consider myself an expert on the subject
