# About me

I am an artist with a unique medium, the Termesphere. A Termesphere is a spherical painting that shows total up, down, and all around environments. They hang from ceiling motors and slowly rotate. They are possible because of my six-point perspective that I invented for my work. They hang very well in stairwells and corners.

What is a TERMESPHERE?

What you are seeing when you look at a Termesphere painting is an optical illusion. An inside-out view of the total physical world around you on the outside surface of a hanging and rotating sphere. If you were on the inside of this sphere, this painted image around you would seem normal, but it is read from the outside. From any point when you look at the spherical paintings, the image reads correctly. Termespheres capture the up, down and all around visual world from one revolving point in space. Most of the time these spheres are painted on the outside so it takes a six point perspective system to keep all of this environment around you organized.

The images here are stills of my work, which are better viewed while in motion, and I will be trying to include links to youtube videos with each picture I upload. All of the artworks posted here are for sale.

Current Residence: Spearfish, South Dakota, USA

You work is beautiful and mind boggling, I would love to see one of these in life. I noticed one of your pieces was of a restaurant in Santa Fe, NM (where I'm from). You don't happen to have any on display in the area, do you? At the very least, if you do manage to get a video up on Youtube, please note me or post a link in your journal (since I'll be watching you). I would love to see it.

Well, thank you very much. You're right about the perspective: up, down, north, south, east, and west. I use what are essentially large plastic spheres to paint on.

Thank you very much. And I imagine, if these pieces were smaller, but most of them are actually quite large. I'm glad you enjoyed my work.

you should have an eighty foot tree built to show off the unique dimensions of your work lol
it would be like looking at a gods tree or something, with all the views into the tiny rooms..
your handling of perspectives is amazing...

Thank you very much. That's a unique idea, right now I display my artwork inside a geodesic dome. Each piece is suspended from motors that rotate them at 1 revolution per minute so people can get the effect that the perspective creates.

that sounds amazing, and very original! the perspective must be difficult unless you have photographic memory or something lol

For the pieces based on buildings, I use a patented system of photographs for reference.
