Happiness is some free time and a visit to the local scrap yard. We bought 40 pounds of old electronics (including 50+ motors, magnets, microcontrollers,5CD players, Pentium III and AMD Duron CPUs, 3 Ram modules, a fan and more) for 5$ :'D

Btw I'm trying to make a python library that:
1 manages resources (models, textures, images, books, source codes...etc) along with informations like tags (for search),licenses (To know the usage rights, proper credits, who made what, filter depending on your project's needs...Etc).
2 Searches through your hard drive (using an optimized database, not an actual search) and shows you what you have and where you have it (for example an issue I have a lot is for example not knowing that I have an image in one of my textures subfolders that I can use as a brush. Or a colored abstract image that I can use as an additional background...etc). Of course I will have to rearrange a lot of folders but it would take an hour or two only.
3 Batch processing (add tags, set licenses, owners, features, rating...), and a graphical UI for drag'n'drop support for various softwares (Gimp, Inkscape, Krita, MS Word, Atom...etc)
After that, my final goal, is to make a full blender integration, that would totally suppress the need to use the OS's file manager. a thing that I REALLY hate when I'm using only a single screen (99% of the time 
So, any thoughts? and do you think it would be useful for anyone? (not only blenderheads)

could it be a kernel or a driver memory leak ?
8BSODs later, I removed touchpad driver that caused 40% CPU usage whenever I used it, RAM usage is now 50% with a blender scene loaded. still not good but better than before

I think I'll try it too, but not sure, UbuntuStudio suits me more because, you know, I'm interested more by graphics than programming ATM, but this can change. The two are always fighting and the battle is epic :'D
