You know, I suck balls at drawing and don't draw seriously. But with all that, I think I can safely say that I draw better than the majority of the people in this fanclub if not everyone in this fanclub...

Yeah DOOM's one of my all-time favorite games. I love modding but don't have much experience in the field. Usually I just change the sprites, textures and sounds/music, and even that's pretty hard

I like to speedrun and collect WAD's. Making good maps is tricky, but don't give up.

I just got DoomsDay, a hi-res source port (still requires DOOM or DOOM2 WADs,) and some hi-res textures, but it's looking to be more trouble than it's worth. I still love my ZDoom the most.
Yeah I've made a few maps in DOOM Builder by CodeImp (excellent program imo,) even messed with the textures n such. Ultimately I want to do other things, like even make my own monster and item models, animate them pose-by-pose with my digital camera and turn them into sprites!
For the longest time I've had what I think is a great idea, called "GunDOOM," basically a Mobile Suit Gundam total conversion. Monsters are enemy mobile suits, as actual hand-built Gundam models animated in stop-motion. Just to be funny perhaps traditional DOOM monsters appear (imps, Cyberdemon, etc.) but since you're in a mobile suit they're TINY and you can crush them.

You're ambitious. I like that. I'm too shy to even post WADs lmfao. The most I've ever done besides make a map is make a texture. I don't know if GunDOOM would work simply because such large things might cause the game to lag a bit. Unless you make the normal enemies tiiiiny... lol

Yeah that's not really my main idea, I just thought it'd be way-cool and many people would like it. Mainly I just make sprites in GraphicsGale (an EXCELLENT and highly affordable pixel art program) of various people, concepts and/or things that piss me off, and fight them in my WAD!
Unhealthy? Yes...
But fun? Yes indeed...
The only custom enemy I've ever made, using XWE and DECORATE was Kazuma, a character from s-CRY-ed I can't stand for beating up my favorite female anime character of all-time.
