Thanks for the fave on 'Gift of Life' sugar.
Writing about my future kids is one of my favourite themes.
Sigh. One day. <3

I had to move from my old account for reasons explained on my journal and I'm letting all my watchers know my new account in case they want to keep watching me. Thanks a lot for your support (:

Hey! Not too bad, glad to have finally finished all my exams. Probably looking to get a holiday job somewhere, and put some more time into photography and drawing. How about you?

goodness been a while since i've been here! so nice to be back online.
did you get a holiday job? i should write more D:

Deviantart's pretty good, though I haven't done much other than check messages lately. Probably get around to taking and uploading within a week or two.
Are you planning on uploading anything new now that you're back? I imagine being overseas with a foreign atmosphere and environment could be inspirational to your poetry.
As for the holiday job, nothing yet. I have someone who said they were going to get back to me about a job in relation to the postal delivery, but I don't know whether anything will come of it. Also no sure what my chances are with things given I've had no formal employment before. Delivery driver sounds like a safe bet though.
How long are you in France for? Rather different weather over here. Very wet, though it's eased off now. I'm not to bad though, but nothing constructive has been done since uni finished. How has your time away been overall?

Texeo In reply to Ascendant-Edge [2010-11-25 12:58:06 +0000 UTC]
yeah... i had around three hundred messages. impressively i now only have eighty seven. well i'll try to keep checking deviant so i can look out for it
yes i do i have for ages and ages i just need to get the guts to write it down...
oh it was, immensley. my problem is that i think of things and never write them down. although being away is inspiring, yes.
i never had any experience at all and somehow managed to score a really good job. it can happen good luck with it all. if you want a driving job, what about pizza delivery?
i'm in france till the 30th, then onto rome... the weather is getting colder =/ i could write a thesis about how much i want the hot weather back...
Overall? it's been.... well, like nothing i've ever experienced before. africa was really crazy and now france is quite calm...

Wow, that's an awful lot of messages I've still got a bunch from recently that I'm yet to go through, your pieces included. Hopefully I'll get through them in the next day or two.
I think I tend to have that problem too, both in drawing and writing (I have some ideas for novels that are yet to get anywhere) in not getting things down while the inspiration is there.
I've considered pizza delivery, though I'm waiting for a response first to dictate whether I apply elsewhere. Where did you work? And thank you
Sounds like a good time. Cold weather is nice for a change though, especially since we don't really experience it that much in Townsville. What have been the highlights thus far?

Texeo In reply to Ascendant-Edge [2010-11-28 22:32:38 +0000 UTC]
haha yeah i haven't been on in a while. pieces by me? not necceassry to read those it's cool xD
lol who doesn't have an idea for a novel these days? i have stacks of ideas that never go anywhere... the inspiration is best found in the middle of the night whilst one is supposed to be sleeping, i find
have you recieved a response yet?? i was a waitress at table 51 (on palmer street) beautiful restaurant you should go if you haven't - and no i'm not advertising i truly think they have great food!!
cold weather is never nice =.= can you tell i dislike the cold? i like townsville with it's miserable excuses for winter D:
highlights...... hate to be a cliche but helping the talibΓ©s in africa. (little homeless boys). i've seen a lot but that has been the most rewarding by far.
i also saw the new harry potter today that was pretty cool :3
done anything interesting lately?

Ascendant-Edge In reply to Texeo [2010-12-01 00:00:23 +0000 UTC]
No, I'll look at them, I generally look at all my watch pieces. I'd be interested to see how the trip has inspired your work as well
Any intention to bring those ideas to reality? I find my best ideas come when riding my bike delivering, something monotonous (Not to say bad) but it keeps my mind free. problem is they keep changing.
As for a response, no, not yet, hopefully sometime this week. What was being a waitress like? I haven't eaten there, though I'll aim to somewhere in the future
Really? I thought you were just hating on the cold because you didn't want me to see how much you enjoy it When you go elsewhere, Townsville really does have a miserable excuse for winter doesn't it. What temperatures are you getting over there? Snow?
There's nothing wrong with that, though I probably wouldn't consider it cliche. I imagine it would have been an eye opening and perspective changing experience?
Harry Potter was pretty good, compared to the first two movies rather dark, but you really couldn't have it any other way. Plus darker movies I find more enjoyable It's a shame though, having it split into two and having to wait a few months for the final instalment.
I haven't really done much lately. Been helping dad put up a carport down the backyard, and will likely go down there shortly to finish screwing down the roof. Made a fool of myself last night by going into capoeira last night for a meeting and instead finding out the meeting was next week and class tonight. Thankfully someone else did the same
Oh, and we also have a pet duck now. It came from next door when it was perhaps a day old as its leg looked to be broken or lame. It was trailing behind its siblings and probably wouldn't have survived the birds of prey that were hanging around. Fast forward three weeks and it is now three times the size of its siblings with two perfect legs. It follows you around at your heels when you walk and enjoys swimming in a reasonably sized packing crate. You wouldn't know it was the same duck. My brother named it Ming Ming after a children's TV show that used to be on, the Wonderpets
Anyway, what about you?
