There's a site called learnmmd.com and it's a site filled with tutorials and stuff regarding MMD and its related stuff.
There's also a YouTuber called MacaronTeaCupBaby and she does a lot of MMD tutorials there. ^^

Yes. If the model is PMD then PMDEditor is required. The same goes for PMX.

Convert the RAR file to ZIP and then extract the folder. Thereβs a program called 7-Zip and it really helps.
