Sorry it took so long to message you back. Thank you for your kind comments. I'm not on deviant art very often these days. I am completely out of the baking industry these days. I'm working as a jeweler and starting a ceramics Buisiness on etsy at the moment. 10 years cake decorating was enough.

Hi Bailey ! It has been a long time since I've been on deviant art. I've been busy. Still working on the jewelry line. Also picked up wheel pottery as a new hobby / obsession.

Also, are you allowed to show pics of your jewelry creations?  I bet they are amazing!

I'm still doing the knit & crochet thing.  Have some things in progress, and some finished that I've not bothered to take pics of yet.  (Lazy. )

Made Chicken-n-Dumplings for the first time ever, turned out great.  So introduced my Dragon to it, he likes it, then introduced my Stitch-n-Bitch group to it, and they've insisted I bring it to the next meeting!  (Since it's still winter here, the weather is perfect for hot, rich, filling soups.)

Other than that, still puttering along with life.  It's all good.

Mmmmmmmm.....chicken and dumplings.... I haven't made that in a long time. Been making chicken pies. Glad things are going well for you. I didn't make it to Australia for reasons beyond my control. Still want to go though. If I ever plan a trip there a visit to you will be part of it. It's all about $. Takes a lot of cash to get there. I hope that if you ever visit stateside you'll try to stop by my place. I'd be delighted to put you and your husband up for a couple days if you want to see anything in the DC Baltimore area. The pottery goes amazingly well. I'm only 1 month into it and already throwing consistently good bowls and mugs. I'm also decorating them with hand built details .....like dragons he he he.

I can totally relate to the fundage thing.  I visited here twice before moving here.  At the time, round trip for one person was nearly $3k, coach class.

I do plan to eventually bring my husband to the USA to meet all my friends; I'd be delighted to stop by and visit you as well!  I lived near Baltimore MD for a few years, (back in the '80s,) and would like to take my DH to the Smithsonian for an awe inspiring day.

Would love to have you visit!  When you can, just let me know.  If all goes well, I might even have a place with a guest room by then.  (Current place is a tiny rental.)

Pics of the pottery, pretty please?  I know your stuff is awesome, I just want to see it so I can drool!

Thanks darlin ! Sorry I haven't been able to reply for a while.  My phone is my computer and it was misbehaving. I finally got it fixed ! Yay! So I'm back on line.  I'll be posting soon. Glad you're back online, was wondering if you'd taken a vacation or something.

Starting to get cold here!  In the middle of Autumn, and have had the wood stove going since Easter.  Other than that, been knitting & crocheting a bit, as my hubby's youngest sister and her hubby have just had their first child; a little girl they've named Emma.  She is adorable, as per SOP with babies.   I've crocheted a blanket and a basket, as well as a pair of 'booby beanies' - at the mum's request! - And just recently finished knitting a larger blanket which they will be receiving soon; the new grandparents are taking it up to them this week. Heee!

Yes, I'd love to meet you in person!  Next time you visit Oz, let me know.  I live waaaaaayyyy out in the country, about 2 hour drive East of Melbourne.  Either you can come visit me here, or we could arrange to meet someplace closer to where you'll be staying.
