Staples and a good bit of folding and tucking. There was also a clothespin or two. Not the most effective method but it worked out alright I guess.

Don't forget the copious amounts of fabric paint.

Cream fabric and a Cleopatra costume pattern. The capelet was made from a handmade pattern out of newspaper. The hat is just foam and cardboard wrapped in fabric. The glasses we picked up at Party City and the snake was won at one of the state fairs a few years ago. It just happened to be the right colors. It was kind of thrown together but overall I think it came out really well!
