Millie growled lowly, crouching ever so slightly behind a tree. There was the mansion Snake had told her about. She knew she had to take that "father" down, despite the fact that she knew it'd hurt the reptilian boy. She'd grown quite fond of him, and she knew he was fond of her, too. It hurt her, but she knew it had to be done. She could smell the scents of children, and there were a lot of them.
"Waiting for an invitation to strike, Miss Chase?"
The brunette jumped at the deep male voice behind her, whipping around to see Ciel and his butler. Her eye twitched slightly at the smirk on the butler's face.
"Bloody hell. What are you doing here?" she asked, more addressing Ciel than responding to Sebastian's question.

"Same as you,of course." Ciel replied in a matter-of-fact tone. "I was sent here to investigate the children's disappearances upon the request of her Majesty and put an end to her worries by returning them home safely. That is a WatchDog's duty,after all."

She snorted, looking back towards the mansion. "At least I didn't have to seduce one of the circus members to get the information."
"Are you quite certain of that?" Sebastian smirked. "Snake seems quite smitten with you."

Ciel looked towards Sebastian,unaware of the fact that he'd seduced one of the circus members.
He sighed in annoyance. "So that's how you got your information."

Millie shuddered. "Yes and I could hear it when I was walking back to our tent from Snake's. You could've at least told Beast to be quiet."
The butler only smiled that adorable smile. "Her volume was a little unexpected, but at least I got the information my master needed."
"Whatever." She looked back at them, mostly at Ciel. "Are we doing this or not?"

She followed beside them, chuckling. "I'm half tempted to turn into a snow leopard, but I'll wait."

also you don't have to match the length I got carried away[G]rell was going to murder that stupid, childish little subordinate of theirs one day. Not today, obviously, since William forbade them to kill any of their co-workers, but one day; they counted on it. They didn't hate him or anything-they were friends, he was just too young and daft for their taste and he seemed to like pushing their buttons on purpose. The two of them had been on their way to take care of the next case they'd been assigned too and all had been going well until along the way the two had gotten distracted and ended up losing eachother. And of course, they were infuriated over this. Where the hell was he? How would they find eachother? They were seriously considering he walked off to force them to do all the work, which made them even angrier even though they didn't know that for a fact.
[T]hey grumbled to themselves as they trudged down the busy London streets, keeping their gaze down at the small notebook in their hands. "This is bloody ridiculous!" They complained aloud, not even bothering to glance up. "I can't find these stupid people, and this is supposed to be a two-person job! Even Ronald knows a fair maiden like me cant handle a job as big as this!" They continued, growling to themselves. As furious thoughts flooded their mind, they didn't notice the smaller figure in front of them and ended up colliding with him.
[T]he shinigami let out a dramatic yelp, stumbling back a little to stay upright. Their brows furrowed as they glanced down to see the other, sharp teeth starting to grit as they saw him. Ciel Phantomhive. "Oh, it's you." They muttered in an unpleasant tone, bringing their notebook to their chest.

"The feeling is mutual,Sutcliff." Ciel replied bitterly,giving them a scowl as he got up,dusting himself off. "Honestly,why don't you watch where you're bloody going for once instead of constantly wingeingΒ absentmindedly to yourself?"

"Don't you dare mock me!" Grell retorted in an annoyed, yet dramatic tone, frown increasing. "Me?" I had a legitimate reason, mind you." They grumbled, already growing irritated with the child-as always. "You were the one who happened to be in my way here!"
