I was actually thinking of drawing Illia from Twilight Princess and Malon from Ocarina of Time together :').
And they chill together somewhere in Hyrule.
And Illia could be blowing the horsegrass and Malon could be singing or something like that.

I like that idea! Hm, now how do we go about this? This is my first time doing a collaboration, but I imagine one person does the sketch and grayscale while the other person colors. Personally, I usually start out with a sketch and then clean it up and color with grayscale until I get the shading and lighting I want. I do this all on one layer, and once it's satisfactory, I put another layer on top and color before combining the two layers and smoothing the canvas out.
What have been your experiences in the past? Is this usually how you go about doing a collaboration?

Splitting the drawing between sketch+grayscale and colour+edits sounds good to me
