I shoot fireballs from my hand aiming for the face, It does decent damage but I tell The night to cover me while I charge a Clairvoyance spell to find the monsters true weak spot. He does so but is blasted back. He is knocked out but is will live. I use the spell and locate the weak spot under his legs. I hit him there critically damaging it and killing it.

You Find Yourself in a stone room with little light. You Find A letter telling you to pick a weapon and you can proceed. There are 3 Objects on Stands in the room. Pick Your Weapon:

A) Bat - A Blunt Melee Weapon, Its A little slow but hits Hard.  
B) Kitchen Knife - A Sharp and small Melee Weapon, It can cut and moves fast.  
C) Modified Trash Can Lid - A Padded Metal Trash Can lid, It is slow, blunt, and does decent damage but will protect you from some damage.
