Hello. Say can you help me to understand Warhammer 40K better? I have been watching some lore videos on 40k. From what I have seen it does not look nice is the only word that comes to my mind. This Human Imerineum sounds like an awful and dark place to be. Not to mention the hard fact that if you are born on a certain world THAT IS YOUR LIFE. You are either a cog in the machine. A soldier who MUST kill no matter what. A prisoner. A poor victim of a quarantine planet. One of the billions that keep The Golden Throne alive. An experiment to the scientist's. Or free on those what were they called? Leisure planets? It just sounds horrible. I don't even know what the other alien races do or what they think about humans and The Imperium?

well there isn't so much to talk it nice, it is a dark and distopian world, to have a certain freedom, maybe play a rogue trader who mostly is busy with world exploration, has an own vessel that is pretty bling and is relatively independant

well depends on how you land, your job will be to explore unknown regions, discover new and exciting worlds, gather riches for the glory of the empire, so depending on how you aqquired those riches these guys may or may not want to murder you, also, if completely non human species see you as a threatt may influence your lifespan, and sometimes, you survive a war just to be killed by your mother in law because she thinks you are nothing but spacepirate scum

I've found that a lot of people here in the U.S. don't know much about their own country, much less anyone else's.
I post prayer updates about different countries. Part of the reason is to raise awareness about what's going on in the rest of the world. Recently I’ve started my own private initiative; if I notice someone on DA is from another country, if I've done their country I let them know. Its my way of letting them know that others are thinking about their home.
