I'm glad something like this exists on DA. It was your avatar that first attracted my notice, then the name got me curious, so I came and had a look.

I really think the art world in general is overwhelmed by female images, perhaps because for so long, females have been objectified and emphasis has been placed upon feminine beauty. Now I'm not criticizing images of women (hah yes, those windswept images with the gowns and surreal stormy backgrounds), but there's really a huge lack of male figure art in general. As someone who has looked extensively for male images to use as character portraits, I know first hand how lacking decent male images are. They're all either super effeminate anime yaoi boys, or hulking great muscle bound Conans. Part of why I started doing digital art was to learn how to create my own images to use because there was just nothing to little out there!

I really appreciate what you're doing here, and hope that it gets more exposure.
