# About me

Hello, my name is Jasmine

I am an illustrator and writer. When I discovered illustration those trapped ideas were unleashed and brought to life on the page... Now I wish to teach others this creative language.

My journey started at College, where I did a 2-year course in Art and Design in 2013. I learned a variety of techniques while studying there, ranging from Tech-Styles, print making, woodcraft and digital software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign). After I achieved a triple distinction star*at College, I wanted to tighten my focus on this vast subject. I then went to University to study an illustration degree and graduated with BA Hons. My biggest inspiration is films and books, I love the feeling of being transported somewhere else and having a deep connection with a character or place. It's just a great feeling to experience.

My work is mainly surrounded by fantasy, animals, and monsters with deep and sometimes emotional backgrounds tied into them. I strive to create an emotional response from people and to hear their thoughts and reactions towards my work.
