# About me
I pride myself on being a true blue poet, a rhapsodist if you will. I turn my gaze towards the macabre and the dark in hopes of reviving the spirit of Edgar Allan Poe so that it may imbue this world with literature once more. Tis a simple dream, yet it is one I shall pursue until my dying day. Hi. I am The Madcap Quipster.# Comments

hey thanks!
so, i guess it isn't surprising that written on EAP's tombstone is "quoth the raven, nevermore," but i found out recently that on emily dickinson's tombstone, self-written, is the phrase "called back." sort of a simple yet oddly beautiful choice of words, i think.
my favorite few lines of poetry are
"that no life lives forever,
the dead men rise up never,
that even the weariest river
winds somewhere safe to sea."
anyway, happy sunday!
hope

Thanks for the warm tidings! I couldn't help but notice that your favorite movie is "Waking Life." That's one f my favorites as well! The philosophical magnitude of that movie was truly awesome (and I don't mean modern awesome. I mean awesome as in worthy of awe.)
