Been playing a lot lately. I mainly play Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3, actually the best player for that in the area, some Super Street fighter 4 AE 2012 but that isn't my main game, recently picked up skullgirls been loving that game, tried injustice yesterday thought that was fun, been doing some Blazblue and some smash on the side too.

Oh true, yeah I've thought about getting MvC3 and Skull Girls but I feel like I'm too noob. xD But skull girls in particular, the art looks wonderful. I saw a behind the scenes video of how they did the art and it was pretty cool.
Did you ever play Marvel vs Capcom 2? I bought that recently and I really love it.

Yeah I played MvC2, still do on some occasions, but that game is a whole different ball game compared to 3. I know a guy that is good enough to be considered one of the best players out there for 2. I'm actually surrounded by a fair number of people that have taken down top players for various of games.

That's crazy, I don't know if I could commit to one game for the amount of time it takes to be really pro, but in MvC2 I like stringing combos and stuff where the screen is just an epileptic explosion of light. xD Is it more difficult to preform ultimate attacks in MvC3?

Well I think the combo curve is actually easier in 3, a lot of it is dumbed down and made easier, in fact I think the overall damage output of all the character is much higher then in 2, cause its really common to see touch of death in 3, 2 there was a lot more resets involved to get the kills. Like if I had to use an example with someone that is in both games, Magneto from what I heard in 2 was super reset heavy and had decent damage output and the assists/team syn-energy generally supported that style, in 3, he can play the reset game and if done right can kill the majority of the cast with the right team behind him. By ultimate attacks if you mean hyper combos (the stuff that flash and takes meter) uh well... *scratches head* probably not cause it still follows the idea of a motion + two buttons.

I don't spend as much time with fighting games as it sounds but I do spend time playing with people that are good, which I think is just as important if you aim to get good, but I mostly do it cause I like talking about the games and hanging out with people. It also helps me with the fact that I learn games fast cause I got such a huge library of fighting games I've played and can usually start using past experiences to help me understand games better. I think there's this misconception of being "pro", its gonna really depend on an individual in the long run, you can commit some time to try and get better, or you can create a wall for yourself and say "I suck I can't get better" bottom line is its just like any other trade, no one is good when they start out.

And, FEND experience some, well, I'm going to be blunt, pretty bad trouble. FEND got hacked, and the domain was stolen. However, the domain was on it's last week or so anyways, and it expired :/

I'm not playing much right now, really. I don't have much time too, haha. But when I do, I usually hop on and play a couple matches of League of Legends, or Modern Warfare 3. But more casually, it's mostly just Phoenix Wright.

I'm not looking forward to much either, just Tales of Graces f and Resident Evil 6, and possibly Operation Raccoon City
