DeviantArt is a terrific place. I have been here a while enjoying all the amazing art and talent that can be found here. I am an amateur with basic skills, equipment and never enough time to spend on my photos. I do hope my efforts add to the enjoyment of at least some of you.An occurrence found here and in photography has always intrigued me; that is the number of brave souls willing to bare not only their souls, but also their bodies in their art. I think we can agree that the thought of doing so is daunting to the majority of us. Social "norms", self-image issues, fear of ridicule and bullying are all fetters for those that may want to take the leap. But so many do shove their worries aside and dive in. I salute them and some of the great art created as a result. Now I want to try. OK, it may not be all that impressive and I will still be maintaining some privacy: those old anxieties die hard. We'll see where this goes, maybe some worthy images will come of it. A donation to balance the books for the works I've enjoyed here.
Comments and constructive criticism are always welcome. Yes, I've got some long miles on my chassis and I should hit the gym a little more often. If you're feeling low and need to express it by being mean, please don't here, there is already too much of that in this World.
