Why, hello! :)My name is Rachel. I'm 18, a freshman in college double majoring in creative writing and psychology, a hopeful writer, a member of many fandoms, and a hopelessly awkward nerd.
I'm not really sure what to say about myself. I love reading and writing. I have a passion for storytelling. I know from personal experience that a story well told can be truly life changing. It's a very beautiful thing, and my hope is to, one day, maybe write a book that can have that kind of impact on someone. It would be the biggest honor in the world if I could do for someone else what gems of fiction like Avatar: the Last Airbender and Doctor Who have done for me.
You may, occasionally--when the life of a college student allows it--see some writing posted from me. I'm not promising it will be any good, but my writing is my biggest passion, and I'm always open to critique on it.
But, until then, I at least try to be a decent and friendly person. I don't always succeed--in fact, I tend to have a very negative opinion of myself, which I know is unhealthy, but I do my best to maintain the habit of putting a positive light on the way I see things and people. :)
I'm always open to notes, comment, whatever--I love making new friends, and I do my best to be friendly to everyone who comes my way.
Not that any of you wanted to hear my nerdy, sappy word vomit, but anyway.
