Oh hey, fellow fellow Aussie! You're welcome for the favourites (sorry if I don't comment, I tend to go on art purges and leave really bad comments so I just fav and run like a coward).

And did you read my ridiculously longwinded journal? Heh, I need to change that, it's probably very confronting. I'm glad to inspire you but I just want to say this; I'm no better or worse than anyone else. Really, I've done nothing special that deserves your inspiration, at least not by what you're saying. But I think people relate to other peoples' struggles and problems and that can motivate them or make them feel not alone. We all suffer and go through rough patches and I suppose 'obviously' disabled people are like a beacon for people to recognize they're going through shit? We are, definitely, but honestly we're just living our lives like anyone else. So instead of being inspired by me just carrying on with my life, recognize the strife that literally everyone feels and somehow manage to get through in their own way. Not just because I exist, but because I do something with my life which is more that can be said for some other people, regardless of who they are. I think that's what you meant: we don't live despite our problems but to work through and with them. Because misery builds character apparently, but so does joy and relief and love and respect. Which is enough.

Haha you're as wordy as I am, but no it's okay, your blog is for you to write and your views are yours to express. As much as I want to say it's not your disability that inspires me but your optimism in general, I guess you're not wrong in pointing out that a lot of people get way too hooked on the 'disabled' part, but I've just always been glad to see people who look on the bright side of life no matter their circumstance because cynicism is a real buzzkill. So keep it up!
