Only thing on my Christmas/Birthday list this year.
And since I couldn't watch any Ponies, I was lurking around the internet...and I found something I've never tried before. Visual Novels.
They are actually kinda fun.

That is very true, but these kind are the kind that last you an ungodly long amount of time, and have the best of practically everything. And its also a headset so I get a mic from it. I'm paying for part of it as well, and we have some bestbuy cupons & membership deals we can use to lower the price.
They are fun.
I have only played two so far the first is called Katawa Shoujo >>[link] << Its rather sad/sweet, but its still being worked on (they only have the first act out so far). I believe that they are almost finished working on it. Apparently there's going to be some "H-scenes" later in the novel, but I can tell the story to skip those(don't worry, I will, I'm only in this for the story and character development). Katawa Shoujo is one of those ones where you get to pick what your character will do at key moments to shape the story and how the other characters will see you. (I went on so long with this one because I absolutely love it).
Second one is solely reading, I don't have the link anymore, but the novel was called Araiah, it was rather entertaining. But it seemed to end rather suddenly...because of its sudden end, it didn't seem as good to me. Still very well written though.
