# About me
I'm an anthropology graduate/office chimp, currently based in Brighton, UK. My main creative pursuits are photography and writing, however I have difficulty sticking with what I'm writing. I have that thing that most aspiring writers seem to have where they have a potential story in their head for years and are constantly working on and adding to it but fail to get it down in writing.I'm purely an amateur photographer - I don't have any training or qualifications, and my approach has always tended to be much more a documentary than a creative one. If an image naturally occurs that strikes me, I'll record it, but I've never really gone in for photomanipulation or portraiture, or arranged/staged photography. I've recently invested in a new camera and am hoping to get more involved in the creative pursuits, so I'm hoping to give other forms of photography more of a fair go.
Current Residence: Brighton, East Sussex
Favourite genre of music: Post-rock, folk, Motown, Northern Soul, Bluegrass, whatever - I'll give most things a try.
Operating System: Windows XP
Wallpaper of choice: something textured, in a colour like Ecru or Magnolia

Ok, that's about half the Japan photos up - I'm kind of dividing it into "old" and "new", so today I've put up all the landscape and temple type shots, tomorrow (or later today) I'll put up the work from Tokyo and Yokohama.

Thanks a lot for commenting on Into the Mighty Forest Your gallery is nice - there is a good free graphics application called the Gimp where you can add borders and whatnot to your photos. I think a simple frame would suit your photos quite well. Nice work.

Yeah, i had them developed with a border around them but the person who scanned them for me got rid of it, cheers tho.
