The group was upstairs in a room when they heard the door open. Haruhi's eyes instantly filled with fear and tears. "G-guys...! Someone... got in..!" she managed to say. Haruhi was instantly clinging to Tamaki, who held her protectively. Now she had more people to protect... less people who would live if she didn't die.

She calmed down a few minutes later- everyone else was discussing what they'd do and she slipped downstairs, seeing the trio. "....H-hello..?" she says quietly, looking at them. Her eyes were still filled with fear- tears dried on her cheeks. "C-can... I help you..?"

Maiko nodded in agreement," Yes, Gwendolyn and Vash have dragged a friend and myself along with them to look. However, our acquaintance didn't want to come inside and she insisted on staying outside. We will only be a moment, then we will leave."

"...." Haruhi was silent, tears once again filling her eyes as she finished walking down the steps, going over to them. "Your friend is smart." she told them simply, smiling a bit sadly. "...I don't... live here." she told them, wiping the tears from her face.

"I've been here... for a long.. t-time. There's no way out... once you get in." she said, "That thing... it'll kill all of you. I-if it doesn't kill me, anyways. The only way.. y-you'll get out is... if I die. My friends w-won't let that happen, though. They said we-we'll get out anyways." she sniffled, more tears falling.

"....You shouldn't... listen to the r-rumours.."

Vash frowned-which was very odd," Maiko, dudette, you know Scarlet doesn't talk.. Maybe she's just being shy? " he asked, trying to calm Maiko down.

The fear grew, "...N-no... the thing... was outside-... she's gone." Haruhi wiped more tears away. "I...  i'm s-sorry for... your loss." she bit her lower lip, "..at least... you don't h-have to.. watch her die. Over and over again."

She sniffles again, trying to keep quiet so the others wouldn't come down.

Just then upstairs, there was a clash. "No--!" she exclaims, quickly turning around and running upstairs. She started screaming when she got up there, "N-no! Where are they--!?"

Gwen looked at Vash," Stay down here with Maiko, I'mma go check on crackerjacks upstairs." She couldn't help but grin a little.

Vash grinned back, watching Gwen as she ran upstairs.

Haruhi had been roaming the mansion- alone- for hours. She hadn't run into the monster once. Maybe it wanted to find her itself.. or they were looking for eachother at the same time? She sighs, sitting on the floor and leaning up against a wall. Tears quickly filled her eyes, the only thing she was focused on was dying- so her friends could escape.

She cried softly, pulling her knees close to her chest as she buried her face in between her chest and knees, muffling the cries even more. "...I'm so... useless." she says to herself, "No matter... how.. many times.. I restart... they all... die.." she sniffles, wiping her eyes and 

jumping a bit at the person infront of her. Not really a person, though.

A ghost. "...Th-that... thing sent you.. d-didn't.. it..?"

Although, with Zoo Tycoon, the question is when have you beaten the game?

Because Freeform is technically cheating, but there's so many more challenges in Challenge mode-
