Hey! Eighteen-year-old! I have some excellent art to throw at your for your birthday! Since I have yet no fanart prize to present to you (the way I timed my contest schedule made it almost impossible for me to give you your prize on your birthday...and I was confident you would get one of the three prizes). ...how about a cool poster? Are you aware of the upcoming Naruto movie, "Road to Ninja"? It takes place in an alternate timeline wherein Kushina and Minato never died, and many more changes are in this world than that. Even personality changes like Kiba becoming a "cat ninja," Gai-sensei becoming lazy and dispassionate, Hinata essentially becoming a tough biker chick (#DISLIKE), and we even get to see Sakura's parents. Thank you so much for such an amazing mixture of presents Storm! I loved each picture that you sent to me <3 My birthday certainly was awesome and this was the whipped cream and cherry topper to the sundae of wonderful presents!
Also, I'm so excited for "Road to Ninja". I didn't know we were going to see Sakura's parents (at last!) but I was pretty aware of the other changes. I'm a little hesitant about Hinata, as well. One thing I realized that most of the NaruHina fangirls out there probably haven't is that, if AU!Hinata is completely opposite in personality to regular-Hinata, wouldn't that mean she hates Naruto? But, I'm really excited for OOC!Sasuke, the awkward little flirty duckbutt. I have a feeling that he's going to be one of the first to realize that somethings wrong with Sakura and Naruto (RAMBLING AHEAD) I mean, if they're all opposites, that probably means that AUSakura doesn't like AUSasuke and focused more on training and ninja-stuff when she was younger rather than appearances and stuff like in the normal world. So, the moment Sakura gets all flustered and blushes when Sasuke comes onto her (undoubtedly a common thing in this world, the silly playboy), he's going to realize something's wrong.
Then I started thinking more and more of the Au possibilities and a thought of the Akatsuki being all OOC struck me. Would that mean they never left their villages and never became evil? What if all the villages are friends and Konoha has some sort of big festival and all the Akatsuki show up and Naruto and Sakura start freaking out because THERE ARE WANTED CRIMINALS AT THIS PARTY, WHY IS NO ONE NOTICING. And then some SasoSaku would be nice. Unlikely, but nice.
And then there's Gaara. What if he never became Kazekage? What if his younger self was nice and innocent and adorable and he grew up to be a huge dick, a reversal to the canon?
Ah, so many possibilities and I just need this movie to come out so I can stop thinking up scenarios!

We're finally done with our marching season and now in concert season. Our director has a few cool songs planned (and few fun ones to play for fun (TIME WARP FTW)). This is my senior year and we were so excited that we made it to Area!! The last time our band made it to Area it was my first year in band so its like we started with a bang and ended with an even bigger one.
(Inwardly, I'm hoping I read you right and were, in fact, talking about marching and high school band and such and not something completely differant :/)
