lol. I am the same way. I never really thought any of my photos were that great. People said they're fantastic and I should sell them.... well I'm still a critic to myself but am hopefully going to get started in a photography business. I guess if I can make a little money on it at least it will support the expensive habit of photography lol.

I think the reason its so hard to see our own photos as good is because we knew what we wanted the shot to look like. and not every shot comes out exactly as planned unless you have lots and lots of time to compose and focus is. Which with animals and etc, you dont.

You are exactly right! We don't always realize how good our work is because of how we see the final image as compared to the thought of what it would look like. I agree with the people who told you your pictures are fantastic,they are beautiful! I'm sure you would get a lot of people wanting prints of your work and it would be very helpful to pay for the hobby lol.

Thanks :) (Smile) I'm thinking about doing rodeo photography as well.. I've had a few people tell me to get in to wedding photography cause thats where the money is but WOW ! I could NOT imagine the pressure there! " what if I miss the shot" " what if the shot I take isnt what they wanted" " what if... " etc. with my luck my first or 2nd client would be a bridezilla!

I could never do wedding photography because of the pressure either, it's a money making business but the pressure on those people must be ridiculous especially if their clients are bridezillas haha =) (Smile) . You should definitely do rodeo photography! I love the pictures you already have of rodeos, I think you'd do extremely well with that. It's well worth it when you see the great images that come from it especially when everything comes out crisp and clear.

Thanks :) (Smile) my only problem is its even more expensive to get in to pro rodeo photography. I'd need a ridiculously huge flash and a crazy fancy camera.. so eventually I'm sure I will it'll just be a while. I'm heading to a college soon that has a LOT of students there for the rodeo team so I might see if they want a photographer if they dont already have one.

But its definitely a fun rush trying to get the shot. and I love the feeling when you see that you actually DID get the shot :) (Smile)

Yeah the cost is crazy but you should save up for it lol. That would be a great oppurtunity to get started! And I know, when you get the shot you want it is relief and happiness, it's great hah.
