Well I'm back. I had a lot of troubles at home and my dog died a month ago but Now we got a new family member, I'm happy and now I will trie to upload new stuff. :D (Big Grin) My Scanner somehow started a war with me so it could be a little bit hard to upload things but I will do it. Fuck you Scanner.

I've seen your work. Your really really good. Hope I could do it on that high skill-level. :) (Smile) My biggest problem in drawing at the time is the damn hair. I always feel like I'm close to understand it how it work but everytime I draw it it fails. Sometimes it works like on the character Artwork 3 and final but most of the time I'm pretty lost on that subject :( (Sad)

It's made partly with the help of Mokona magic.

I see. So hair is a big problem for you. You are in luck! I've just completed a new and quick piece that highlights hair. Maybe when I post it later you can study my work up close and see if you can learn a few things from my female model.
The trick is to go strand by strand on a character whose hair is depicted with lesser lines in between first then progressing from there. Once you get the hang of it, the hair puzzle can be quite an interesting one to work through.
I faced the same problem depicting trees in a bunch when I worked through with charcoal for the first time. I was trying to cover everything and I was failing miserably when I first started because I do detailing. It was horrible! I initially couldn't get a grip on so many things in front of me and was all over the place and overwhelmed trying to understand such a messy tool leaving my hands black. I know that lost feeling but when I started realizing the key is contrast in different shades of black, things do get better with practice. Lots of it and lots of study.
