It would be cool to have a GBC with DS guts to play DS games..to me the GBC casing is so much better than the advance or DS but I wouldnt like to be stuck playing just GB or GBC games on it,.,,im sure theres a way to mod it and im sure theyve done it.

Hey, dude, do you know how to put an LED into a cartridge?
I got the 64M one, and I'm pretty sure there's a green LED that lights up when it's connected to the PC, is there any way to make it light up when it's in use?

Yeah I have been looking at these places recently. Trying to decide if I should get a new gameboy pocket either a DMG one or just a normal one off ebay :].

For sure get a DMG, better sound than the gameboy color. Then you can pro sound it and backlight it with nearly NO electrical experience.
Should never spend more than 10-15 for a DMG, then nonfinite sells backlights for 13 right now... then you can get al you need for a pro sound mod at radio shack for only 2 bucks..lol

Wow that would be so excellent. I was actually thinking about buying the full DMG on nonfinite, but since you mentioned all of this and how much cheaper it is, plus I would love how to fully be able to customize and repair my gameboy's. Also what types of paints do you use for your gameboys, and do you know if there is a certain kind of spray paint that works better with them? I would maybe like to stencil a couple of mine. Again thanks for being a big help :].

Krylon makes great paint... like fusion for plastics.. You really cant go wrong with any name brand stuff.
And NP... learning this stuff yourself is always better so you can fix problems if you ever need to
