I clicked on you just because of Balrog in your icon. It was a good move, and paid off much better than most times I make Cave Story based decisions. You're funny and it is good for an eighties childhooded person such as my self to see how that looks to someone from outside.

Aw, thank you! Every once in a while I think about changing my icon to something not-Balrog, but he's simply too cute. I'm always glad when someone recognizes him, Cave Story is becoming more well-known these days but there's still way too many people who haven't discovered it.
Ha, I can't tell you how many times I've wished that I was born in the early 80s instead of the early 90s! 80s cartoons and toys look so much more fun.

It sure did take a while for Cave Story to pick up in popularity. I think part of the problem is that the game gets better as it goes.
They were fun back then. Of course nowadays the detail and color on toys is downright astounding. That said, action figures of today are really just posable and not particularly made for action of any sort.
