WHAT DOES YOUR NAME MEAN?"Tiaropsis" is the name of a jellyfish found in the North Atlantic . . . I like marine bio.
WHO'S THAT SQUIRREL?
His name is Huxley, and he is from a comic strip that I really ought to draw more frequently.
WHAT KIND OF ART DO YOU DO?
Mostly drawing and photography.
WHAT TOOLS DO YOU USE?
I rough out my drawings with a mechanical pencil, ink them with micron pens, and color them with the Gnu Image Manipulation Program. I take my photographs with an aging Fuji camera.
DO YOU DO 3D PHOTOGRAPHY?
Yes!
HOW DO I VIEW YOUR 3D PICTURES?
Get yourself a pair of red and cyan glasses, and put the red lens over your left eye.
WHAT ARE KINETICHROMES?
They are pictures that encode motion in the RGB color channels. This trick is also called "the Harris Shutter" after Robert Harris, who invented it many years before I did.
Kinetichromes are *not* 3D pictures . . . although you can get some pretty freaky 3D effects if you look at them through the aforementioned glasses.
CAN I USE YOUR ARTWORK ON MY WEBSITE/BLOG/ZINE?
I allow noncommercial use of my artwork, so if you're not selling a product, feel free to use it! If you *are* selling a product, you'll want to ask me first. If you're not sure, ask me!
It's generally a good idea to tell me if you're using my artwork in your publication, because that will compel me to look at it, and if I like it, I'll read it, and if I really like it, I'll tell my friends.
Most of my drawings have my link on them. Most of my photos don't. If you're using a picture that doesn't have my link on it, make sure to attribute it.
CAN I MODIFY YOUR ARTWORK/USE YOUR CHARACTERS/USE YOUR PHOTOS AS STOCK?
For noncommercial cases? Probably yes, but it depends on how you want to use them. Ask me first, and tell me what you plan on doing, preferably with a few examples of your artwork. Communication is the key here.
DO YOU DO COMMISSIONS?
Not officially. If you really want a drawing in my style though, send me a message and we might be able to work something out.

No prob!Β It's a cool idea.Β I was thinking it would be especially interesting to photograph some wiry object like a birdcage, and twist it a little between the two photographs so that it looks like it has depth of its own.Β Keep up the good work!
