Seam ripping helped a little bit for the left hand, but the right is still a tiny bit too tight.
Do you have any ideas I could try? I just want to prevent you from having to do them again as it was a misunderstanding x3

I have not done this myself, but it is very possible. My best suggestion would be to experiment yourself with it. If all else fails you can paint the putty externally when it has dried. Just give it a go, fursuit making is about getting messy and making mistakes. If it's a two-part mix, simply mix the paint in when you mix the two parts together. It's going to be quite messy!

[link] This person used a plumber's putty :3. They show what it looks like when properly applied. It doesn't dry out, allowing for you to continue to work it over time. A clear coat of lacquer and/or super glue works great to keep the paint sealed :3. Hope that helps!
