"YEAH NIKKI! YOU GOT THIS!" Gwen yelled from the bleachers. Her daughter, Nikki, had joined her school's track team, and it seemed to be something that Nikki loved. Gwen had promised that she would be there to support her no matter where the track meets were, the temperature outside, or whatever. Gwen wanted to see Nikki happy, and if that meant she had to go and watch track meets two days every week, than that was fine by her.

“Mom…are you sure that this is necessary?” Nikki asked, her voice muffled by a scarf. Her green hair covered by a red and yellow beanie, the same color as the big poofy jacket that was practically drowning her. She was wearing red tights with yellow boots. Her adoptive mother, her former camp counselor Gwen, was looking at Nikki’s attire as if she was imagining Nikki going outside in the snow.
“Nikki, I don’t want you to get a cold,” Gwen responded before heading to the closet, pulling out some mittens. “Oh! I almost forgot the mittens!” Gwen called, before she ushered Nikki to come closer to her.
“Mom, we’re just going to David’s apartment, it’s not like we’re playing out in the snow,” Nikki said as Gwen put the mittens on her hands.

Nikki was sitting in Gwen’s room in the camp counselor’s cabin, still crying from the scraped knee that she got earlier today from playing in the trees. Nikki looked up at Gwen, who was carrying a bottle of rubbing alcohol and a cotton ball.
“Nikki, how many times have I told you to stop playing the trees? You’re lucky you only got some scrapes and bruises, and nothing broken,” Gwen lectured, pouring a small amount of the rubbing alcohol on the cotton ball, putting the now wet cotton ball on Nikki’s bruised knee, causing her to jump slightly. “What am I going to do with you?” Gwen mumbled, not out of malice, but with a small smile on her face.
“I’m sorry Gwen,” Nikki mumbled, looking down at her feet. Gwen sighed, put the cotton ball and rubbing alcohol down, and gave her a hug.
“It’s OK, I’m just glad you’re safe. Just…please don’t do that again,” Gwen said,

Gwen was walking out of her room, rubbing the sleep out of her eyes in her pink bathrobe. Gwen actually felt really good about today after the talk she had with her father, her face displaying a genuine smile on her face. A small one, but a real smile for the first time in what felt like years. That smile soon left her face once she saw the kitchen, which was a mess, covered in cake batter, frosting, and sprinkles.
“What the hell happened in here?” Gwen mumbled to herself, massaging her temples while walking around the kitchen, noticing that the floors were surprisingly clean for how messy the tables and countertops were. While she was walking around, she noticed Nikki sleeping on the floor. Nikki was covered in flour and cake frosting and curled herself up in a ball like a kitten.

Bed TimeBed Time
Max was inside his tent, sleeping soundly after the long day he had, especially with his girlfriend, Nikki, wanting him to accompany her on her latest Sasquatch hunting adventure. Max was worn out, and luckily, he passed out the second he put his head onto his pillow, and was in the middle of a dreamless sleep.
However, this was ruined when Max felt something crawling around in his bed.
“JESUS FUCK!” Max screamed involuntarily, looking down to see what had gotten into his bed. When he looked under the covers, he saw that his girlfriend, Nikki, had snuck underneath his blankets. Nikki looked up at Max and smiled at him, but rather than her normal energized smile, it was more of a timid smile with a hint of fear in her eyes.
“Nikki, what the hell are you doing?” Max asked with more annoyance than he normally would given that his brain was still recovering from waking up suddenly. Nikki looked away from Max, and scratched the back of her neck.

"You'll never get away with this!" Nikki shouted, spitting at her and Nerris' captor, Pikeman. She and Nerris were bound to a tree with a rope, with the other wood scouts, Snake, Jermy, and Petrol surrounding them.
"ACK! You'll pay for that you wild animal!" Pikeman yelled before trying to wipe the spit off of his blemished face. While he was distracted, Nikki and Nerris started whispering to each other.
"So, what are we going to do now, Nikki?"
"We wait for Gwen to come and save us."
"What is Gwen going to do?" Nerris asked, looking at Nikki like she had just tried to eat her own mattress.
"Gwen is super strong and cool! She can take care of these losers easy," Nikki explained, her eyes going starry eyes thinking of her mother figure, Gwen. Their relationship had grown since their Netflix binge a week ago.
"Well even if that were true, how will she even know where we are?" Nerris asked, still not entirely on board with Nikki's logic.

Beserk Character: Max (Camp Camp)Now I don't hate this character at all. I thought that he was very entertaining and a great foil to the camp counselor of this show, David. He's also really funny, and can get a good conversation out of any character. However, as the show has gone on, I noticed that he's become a little more annoying in these later seasons after season 2. At first, I didn't understand why I was getting irritated with Max, as I always thought he was entertaining. Then, the more I thought about it, the more I realized the issue; all of this came after the season 2 finale, "Parent's Day". The ending of that episode (spoilers!) had Max go with Gwen and David to get pizza in order to comfort him about his situation with his parents, which hinted at Max getting a slight character change of being more grateful towards what he has now, like his friends. However, as season 3 went on, I remembered that this never really happened. 
One of the most egregious examples of this came from the finale of sea

“NIKKI! Get down from there!” Gwen yelled looking up in the trees, where Nikki was walking from branch to branch, jumping up and down, and occasionally talking to the various squirrels and birds living in the trees.
“Gwen, I’m fine! I’ve done this so many times…!” Nikki called to Gwen before she was interrupted.
“You could still get hurt, Nikki! You need to come down right now!” Gwen called back. Nikki sighed, before starting to climb down the tree. After a couple of feet, a bug crawled onto Nikki’s hand, causing her to unconsciously recoil her hand off of the tree, causing her to lose her balance and fall off of the tree.
“OH SHIT NIKKI!” Gwen screamed, as she saw Nikki fall. Gwen saw where she was going to land, and jumped in front of the tree, with her arms stuck out. A few seconds later, Nikki landed in Gwen’s arms with enough force to cause Gwen’s knees to buckle, almost sending
