don't do the sell-yourself-short thing--i mean, i look back at a lot of my earlier work (hell, even a few things you +faved) and i feel like it's shit. we all start somewhere, and ot be honest my work probably seems a lot more complicated and a lot deeper than it actually is. i pretty much operate on blind luck (which is probably why i don't update that often)
what i'm basically saying is if you think you won't ever be as good, or won't ever be good, or whatever, then obviously you won't.

I try not to delve too deep in that never-be-good-enough stuff, (It's sometimes a pointless cause, because there will always be someone better than you) but I know when I'm bested, and in this case it was obvious by a long shot. Dude, I am seriously in love with your POV, the words you use, the way you put them together like a unfinished jigsaw. It's incredible, it's philosphical and to-the-bone deep, it's amazing form, it's intriguing, and so freaking raw.
I can't believe it's all just "...blind luck." ^^

well, self-consciousness is the state of being self-conscious...
...and such self-consciousness is aforementioned because, in my first comment, i was basically talking about how i'm concerned about (and thus conscious of) sounding like other people--i try not to be really derivative
which is to say i'm self-conscious about whether or not my work is particularly derivative
