# About me
Welcome to the Den of the Toast Weasel, aka Eo, Eozarth or Eo Fenstalker depending on which part of the web I'm haunting. I have a background in traditional art and was a professional pet portrait artist for a time before turning my attention to more imaginative pursuits. These days I love drawing a range of cute critters, fantasy creatures and anthropomorphic folks.Despite using Photoshop since 1997, my main tool is now Krita, a free and open source art program originally available under Linux. It has recently been ported to Windows and is in beta, and has run a successful Greenlight campaign with Steam (where the cost will be for associated services, and not the core program). You can download Krita for free always from krita.org/

Very nice gallery here! I also use free software (GIMP). I think that in the future I'll start using Inkscape for vector graphics.

Thanks You should give Krita a try sometime too! It's not an image editing program like GIMP and Photoshop. I've heard people compare it to Paint Tool SAI, though I have never used that one. It's good fun anyway, even despite the odd bug from being in beta

I tested Krita on Lubuntu. Very nice software. There's another painting program MyPaint - it is very lightweight and ideal for my old PC
