In the same classroom as before, but on a different day, Nobunaga sat on his regular seat, far at the back. It was break time and he decided to draw in his free time.
He had already planned out what to do for that day, and he supposed it was healthy to take a break once and a while.Β

Tenma quickly packed up his supplies and glanced at Nobunaga, who was currently drawing/writing something.Β
'I should congratulate Kurosawa-san for winning the Secretary position in the Student Councilβ he thought and made his way over to Nobunaga's desk. Which was far back behind him.
"Congratulations Kurosawa-san on winning the Secretary Spot in the Student Council!" He said as he plopped down into a empty seat across Nobunaga.

Nobunaga looked up from sketching and nodded towards Tenma.
"Ah, yes, thank you very much. I am glad that I am able to do much more work than I was before.
I even signed up for the basketball club- in suggestion from Kokinos-senpai, and I have been working hard to maintain a good shape for the club."Β

"I'm happy you got in to the place where you wanted to be! There are still some students who still are looking for a place where they want to be..." Tenma trailed off and then quickly sat a bit straighter in his seat.
"What happens if you're so busy with you're work and you can't vist your friends and classmates often- I'm not trying to be selfish but... I still want to see you often.." Tenma blurted out. Then noticed what he said and slapped his hand over his mouth and sunk into his chair in embarrassment.
"A-Anyway... I think the basketball club suits you... It can help with your health and make you stronger... Maybe you can pull off a few magic tricks with the basketball!" Tenma said jokingly and tried to pretend that he didn't blurt out what he said before.

"You need not to worry about the times we exchange words.
I am very diligent with my work and I work pretty quickly, so there shouldΒ
not be any problems with meeting up with you."
He folds his hands.Β
"I hope not," he furrows his eyebrows a bit, and sighs, "I will make sure
to provide or replace any basketball that I happen to misplace. I hope that
"magic trick" of mines is only with tennis." He says worringly.Β

Sorry! I've been busy for the past few days..
"Ah.. That's good to know... Sorry again for blurting that out again.." Tenma says as he scratched the back of his head.
"Hmmm... It might not happen with a basketball... It'll be directly in your hands and you should see that you're dribbling it. By the way, who else is in the basketball team?" he asked.

He shakes his head, "No need to apologize."
"The only one I'm familiar with is Kokinos-senpai.Β
She's the one who encouraged me into joining the Basketball Club."

"Ah, I didn't know Kokinos-san was in the basketball team! But I'm sure you and Kokinos-san are a great team!" Tenma said as he unknowingly played with the rim of his shirt.
"By the way, how was the hot springs trip? I thought it was fun, but I wasn't able to talk to everyone. I met up with Hotaru-san and Suzuki-san... It's kind of awkward to be the only boy out of the girls in the hot springs..." he continued and pouted secretly because he was upset that there weren't any boys around when the trio went to the hot springs.

"Kokinos-senpai is certainly a very forgiving President.
She's a bit more optimistic than the average, so it's hard toΒ
make someone like her angry."
"Ah, it was relaxing.
I wasn't too focused on interacting with people because the heat
of the water tends to overwhelm me and get me distracted andΒ
quiet. It was a time to relax, so I followed orders and did so.
Ah, I see. During the bus ride Hotaru-senpai was feeling a bit ill,Β
due to motion sickness.
I was in the hot springs with Toyo-senpai the most, and he seemed
a lot more uncomfortable than relaxed whenever I was near him."

Tenma nodded in agreement but gave Nobunaga a questiong look.
"You sound like you tried to get Kokinos-san angry a few times, or your goal is to make Kokinos-san rage..."
"Poor Hotaru-san... Especially that the roads to hot springs are quite rocky it makes the ride worse for her... " he said as he shakes his head in sympathy.
"I think Toyo-san was uncomfortable when you were around him because he was embarrassed about being near you...? I'm not really sure, but I know that when someone is uncomfortable near another person they are usually embarrassed" he said thinking about what Toyo-san is embarrassed about.

"If you've met Kokinos-senpai, then you would understand."
Nobunaga has met a handful of optimistic people, such as his parents, but Kalypso was certainly one of the top ones.
"Yes, it was. But luckily, we made it there and I'm pretty sure her sickness faded away. The hot springs is very relaxing."
"Mmm, perhaps. But I'm confused as to what he would be embarrassed about. If it's about being naked, I guess I would understand. But he does have a choice whether or not he wants to go in the hot springs."

"I did meet with Kokinos-san, it's true that she's a person that is always looking at the bright side... But the way you put it before kind of made it sound... strange? I'm a bit confused" He said thinking about how a person who doesn't get angry easily is a optimistic person.
"Although Toyo-san had the choice of going or not going in the hot springs, maybe he didn't want to be a party pooper. So in the end maybe he thought that if he didn't go in, people would make fun of him because he didn't go in the hot springs?" Tenma asked out loud.

He shook his head, "If someone was optimistic, it means that they look at the brighter side of things. Thus, it's a bit more difficult to get them upset, rather than an average person. Because, in an unfortunate situation, the said optimistic person would look at whatever advantageous side of their situation was, and cheer themselves up. Do you understand?" He turned his head to the rest of his classmates, observing what they did in their break time.
"I'm sure Toyo-senpai is strong enough to defend himself. He has strong values and stands by his opinion with solid reasoning and evidence. To be made fun of just because of not entering the hot springs- I don't believe anyone in this school would resort to such a trivial thing."

"Oh! I understand a bit better now, before I was thinking about the way you put it souded a bit strange. Your explaination helped, thnk you Kurosawa-san!" He said and placed his fist in his other hand, making a movement that represented that he solved the misunderstanding.Β
Tenma nodded in agreement "Yes, that's true. Toyo-san has a strong and good personality, and Toyo isn't a person who you could push around" he sighed and felt ashamed and embarrassed about thinking about a childish reason why Toyo was embarrassed about going in the hot springs with Nobunaga. "Well, I guess I should stop assuming why Toyo-san was embarrassed by being with you in the hot springs... He has his reasons why he was embarrassed"Β
"By the way, have you heard about the new students who joined the music club? I heard that they're pretty good at singing and playing instruments... When I was younger I was thinking about playing the piano... But I got more responsibilities as I grew older... Responsibilities aren't a bad thing, but it would be nice if I could play an instrument..." he mused as he stared at the classroom blackboard.

Nobunaga nodded, in welcome.
"Mmm- if you're awfully curious, you could always ask him."
He leaned on his elbows, leaning his chin against his folded hands.
"Ah. Yes I have, but I haven't exchanged words with any one of them."Β

"Hmm, I think I might the next time I see him" Tenma said
"They're really nice, and fun. You should meet them.."
"We also got a new member in the literature club! He's tall though... Well, everyone's tall but it kind of makes me feel like I'll disappear in the crowd of tall people" he said as he looked up at the ceiling.

"Ah, then if I meet them- I will look forward to it."
"Don't worry, it won't be your fault if they don't notice you.
It would be theirs- unless it's an accident, it's awfully rude to
purposely ignore a schoolmate like that."
