Sup? Hope you all can enjoy my art. My only goal as of now is to become a big manga-ka, so any feedback is appreciated. And when I say manga-ka, I mean MANGA-KA. Not one of those lousy artists who put out a cheap adaptation of the newest Pokemon movie, but an actual, weekly serial in Japan. Any of you who doubt me, go jump in a lake. Any of you who believe me, your kindness is greatly accepted. I already have 4 ideas for series.
I don't know about any of your art styles, but I hope you enjoy mine.

I'm really interested in your dream of becoming a mangaka! Since you currently live in America, how are you planning on breaking in to the Japanese manga market? Given my personal experience with the matter, I feel I should warn you that to achieve fame in any field is extremely difficult. This isn't to say that you lack the ability, but that the number of people who are dreaming of the same goal is high and that you seem somewhat fixated...

Just my two cents, but I am curious as to the actual plan as you see it.

hiii! i love your art style! <3 but i'm just curious, what are you hoping to do if becoming a mangaka doesn't work out? what other types of goals do you have in mind? :) (Smile) not to say it won't, because as long as you have a strong desire and consistently work your hardest, you'll be great. and, also, what kinds of other art mediums are you studying?

Hello, nice to meet you.

I don't really have any other back-up plans, unfortunately. Right now, I'm majoring in Japanese, so I could always be a teacher or something. But I guess I'm just that confident and hopeful that things are going to work out. In my junior year of high school, I visited the Tokyo headquarters of Weekly Shounen JUMP and had an editor review my work. He said the art needed work, but my Japanese writing skills were surprisingly good. Ever since then, I've been practicing copying the styles of other artists until I can come up with my own. As of now, I'm trying out pen and ink and copic markers, but I took a course last year in digital design just in case the entire manga industry decides to shift.

If you don't mind my asking, what are you in to? What kinds of art medium do you use? What styles? And also, I'm just rather curious as to how you came across my DA page among the thousands of others.
