Pity that it's on Patreon.
I know (because I go there) Β Β that Amazon does a good (and profitable) line of erotic e-books.
Have you looked there, or sought to make your work available in .mobi format? You can't use .az3 or .azw because they're proprietary formats but Patreon is a limiting factor.

Another movie to add to your sci-fi list: Divergent.Β

Someone told me it was something like 'Hunger Games'...

The only way it's like Hunger Games is that it's in the near future and in a dystopia.Β

Good flick. Great acting. One 'name'--Kate Winslet, who plays a sort of expanded bit part. Otherwise, new faces galore.Β

Enjoy.

Thank you Sir. I shall look for it.
Currently overdosing on Japanese anime.
I have 3 series "in watch" one on Netflix and two on DVD.

I can't draw myself, so all my artwork has to use Poser. I haven't posted any art recently because my old machine is beyond usefulness. The new one is being built as we "speak" so who know hat will pop out of my brain.

I have done a couple of series rather like your "Charlotte" art. Β

Thank you for noticing!
I was drawn in because dA included one of your Video Game problem series in my Daily Deviations and it wasn't until I looked at the whole series that I realised how old they are.

Like yourself, I'm still using an old Quad CORE 2Gb XP system and Poser 7.
I have Poser 9 but it really CRAWLS on this old rig and P7 doesn't handle two figures (with lighting effects) in a stable manner - lots of CTDs.

I'm planning to go for a new gaming/rendering 64-bit machine soon (probably with 32Gb RAM) [I still cannot believe I just said that - I started out with DOS 3.0, 640Kb and twin 5.25" drives] and I have plans to include SSS on all my future renders. It really DOES make a great difference in rendering skin.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

SirJerryLone In reply to Tomokatu [2014-10-01 18:59:12 +0000 UTC]

You're right. SSS makes a huge difference in rendering. Unfortunately, it's extremely resource-consuming.
My Quad Core has 6 gigs ram and a decent video card with 1 gig memory running under Win Seven Home Premium, but it struggles with modern models and lightnings.
I'd like to upgrade to a more powerful one, but not in the short term.
I started with Poser, too (version 4, 5 and 6) but then shifted to DAZ Studio. It's lighter, quite user friendly, less disk space hungry (the source file of the scene I posted this morning takes 760 KB) and, above all, it's free!
BTW... my first computer was not so different from yours. That tells me that we should be of a similar age.

Thanks for posting the pictures. Time marches on inexorably but at least the years are punctuated with cake!

BTW, that photo of your arrival at Heathrow, reminds me that long distance travel is for the young. I've done that trip to Heathrow my own darned self when I was very young ... it was a breeze then. However, the trip to Sydney last year has shown me that I have lost my tolerance for days without sleep sitting on airplanes. Perhaps you're better able to tolerate such adventures -- hope so.

CAKE!!????

My tastes have matured considerably. I'd rather have a 12 year old single malt than cake (Lagavulin or one of the other Islay malts, for choice) and the only "cakey substance" that goes well with that is Christmas plum pud (with sixpences and threepenny bits!) Yum!.

Oh god! I just put on a kilo THINKING about it!

Yeah well....
I find their restrictions on "No BDSM no distress" to be ... restricting and I similarly dropped out of DAZaholics after being told that one of my pinups was rejected for looking "too young". (An adult woman in 1930s pigtails - perfectly contemporary for the WWII image I was making [link] )

Perficio In reply to Tomokatu [2012-04-01 22:31:08 +0000 UTC]

I looked at DAZaholics but found their nudity policy too restrictive for me. No genitals to be shown. Might as well say no nudity. Someone with an inferiority complex if you ask me. Your image looks fine to me and hardly too young. Seems like a case of if your face fits. I wouldn't last past my first submission lol!

So perverted, in fact, that most of my output shall rmain unpublished!
I used to have more of a gallery on Raunchy Minds (as did Richard Ward) but that looks to have gone away. Maybe it'll come back.

Anyway, I understand DAZ to be less tolerant of sensuality than even the Wylde* so don't expect to see me there in a hurry.

* I posted a comment on "Saved" which didn't make it past moderation ("Saved for later?") & I consider that to be VERY mild.

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

capn-gary In reply to Tomokatu [2011-06-20 01:21:08 +0000 UTC]

Oh, indeed. Daz is not a place where even a stray boobie can show...
But Dazaholics, on the other hand, is simply made up of people who render things, and we're a bit more lax.

And the Wylde is a nice place when you are looking for a few minutes out of the blazing sun. But I can't live over there any more. This place is a much better match for me. At least here, I can tell someone to go to hell, which I recently did.

R'osity is another place where you have to be quite careful about content.

Chuckle.

I don't really get raunchy very much, and even then, a good deal of it is implied, rather than stated.

I've never even tried to post something on DAZ galleries. Earlier I didn't consider myself good enough. Now that I'm good enough, I can't be bothers.
