It's not great, but it's to be expected. You have to start somewhere.
I am currently writing a new story. Just getting the 2nd draft done.

Yeah I actually made a book for my senior thesis so I know how it is. I've only sold it to family, friends, and my professor. I've been doing steady freelance since the summer so I enjoy my job, and life's pretty good.

When I was in college my art equipment was pretty expensive (I took visual media).
Luckily I didn't have a car back then.
I'm going to need new tires for my car pretty soon so that is going to be over a grand.
Who needs kids when your shoveling money into a car?

Now that I've left college [many, many, many moons ago] looking back I'd say that yes most of the art equipment I bought was a waste of money. I could've just as easilt bought a computer and took a few classes on how to design instead of wasting time going to school. Or better yet went to university and walked out in th esame time with a diploma in something else like english or assocaite arts.

Aw, that's too bad. Art is my first love but I decided to major in Psychology instead because I'm afraid of something similar to that happening to me. I rely heavily on stability, especially when it comes to things I invest in so art probably wasn't the right way for me to go. xD

It probably is. LOL!
When I was in college, I was in the visual media (graphic designer course), I used to take out text books on psychology, sociology and the like. Always had an interest in that sort of thing. I had some books you might like to look into: "bizarre disorders of the mind" (if it is still in publication), and "Anthropolgist on Mars." Furthermore, a book on "Lucid Dreaming" was pretty cool.
