I wonder where I've heard it before. Probably during one of Chuggaaconroy's playthroughs of Okami or Okamiden. There's a LOT of references to different myths in those games. I love it. 

I guess. Some of these songs are actually pretty dark, but if you're used to seeing stuff like it it won't bother you as much.

It might just be because I'm aromantic but I only like romance stories in very special cases. Most of the time they come off as stupid or cliche. For example, "loner girl who gets bullied but then a cute boy moves in next door and shows her that no matter what she's beautiful!" or the classic "I know our relationship is great and all but I suddenly distrust you out of nowhere and we're going to fight even though whatever happened could easily be solved if we sat down and talked about it!"

Yeah, personalities are difficult.

Yeah, those kind of romance stories are really stupid. I used to generally not care for romance, but now I don't mind them that much? I don't know, I just read them to feels sad and flop around.

I'm in denial of my like for fluff. Also stories where one of them betrays the other and doesn't regret it, and the one betrayed doesn't even find 'better love' or whatever. I like those. 

Yeah, they're just hard to decide on. Like that red-brown pony I once drew which was good with transport and stuff. I STILL haven't managed to think of a name or tattoo.

*shrugs* I just feed off of negative emotions. And realism. Realistically, I don't believe love 1. Exists, 2. Lasts. So yeah, the betraying for their safety is nice too, but not if that issue is resolved and they all get a happily ever after. That is not reality. 

I like that name~ I'll start thinking of marks now- ones that don't blend into his color scheme.

God, yes. I hate the "love fixes all, love is all-powerful" idea. Love is painful and destructive when it goes wrong. I heard this phrase in a book once. "To love is to destroy, and to be loved is to be destroyed."

That is pretty accurate. I also don't like the 'character doesn't know how to love until they meet this one person who's the most perfect thing in the world'. If that were true, I wouldn't be here like this right now.
