# About me
I have been making a variety of jewelry and small sculptures from polymer clay for twelve years now, at first for my own and my family's pleasure. I especially enjoy creating nature- and fantasy-inspired original polymer clay miniature figurines.I love to sculpt animal and bird figurines, from nature and from fantasy. My favorite technique is to use mica powders on raw clay, then bake it on, to create a smooth, almost softly metallic-looking finish. I also enjoy making sculptures that look like they were carved from stone, inspired by Japanese netsuke or Zuni stone fetishes.
