I would definitely recommend going to art school. I mean, if you are looking for a career in commercial art or production. And I think that's what you're thinking based on your stuff, I think you've got the right idea. Depending on what you want to learn it really matters what school you want to go to, but when it comes to working in the field you just need a great portfolio.
