# About me

Hi, I’m Trac Davies and I am passionate about what I do,

I am an outsider artist who specialises as a colourist oil-painter. I feel that we are all connected to each other & it is this that most inspires me. Many of us live in a decimated environment & our spiritual side suffers because of the destruction that is occuring on a daily basis. I like people to think about where they see themselves in their environment & where they see themselves & their planet they live on and where it is heading. I also like to demonstrate through the medium of art how we affect each other in our daily lives, I feel there is not enough emphasis on how we treat each other & like to depict by surrealistic or abstract paintings what this does to an individual.

One of my main topics is the many women have been brutalised in this life, so much so that they forget the true inner beauty of who they really are. Thus I paint woman from the point of view of the Goddesss within. In addition, I have started on series to illustrate male beauty and how society's expectations affect their spiritual well-being. I love abstract work, this side of my work releases all the other aspects of my work.
