Had a lot of difficulty sending you a link to the Sheppard book, because of internet connectivity issues at my end.  Tried 3 or 4 notes - the last one got through.  So . . . just in case you're wondering what all those notes were about.

No problem. I looked at the book on Amazon and it looks pretty cool. Thanks for the tip!

Nice gallery, Trey.  I like the way you practice and give a running commentary on the progress.
There is a great book for learning the connections between surface forms and underlying anatomy of bone and muscle.  It's by James Sheppard, Drawing the Living Body.  For each pose (standing, crouching, kneeling, lying, etc.) there is given a male and a female model.  For each of them there is diagram of the muscles and a one of the bones.  So it's very helpful for seeing the anatomy inside and outside and, importantly, viewed in foreshortened perspectives.

Sent the link via note, so you have that book and a few others in the shared file.  Just make sure to download the files if you want to keep them.  I already removed the link from my profile page.  While I collected all my material legit from sites like scribd.com, and those sites are supposed to post only works that are in the public domain, they're not always on top of it.  I don't want to get bit in the butt over possible copy rights violations.  So I'm sharing my books selectively with people like you who are likely to appreciate them and benefit from them, rather than simply giving everyone access and, possibly, facilitating a bad element to abuse it.

Yep, I understand. I had a similar experience when looking for a book.  It was for sale on amazon, but free on scribd. So I'm not sure how that works either! But, if it might be copyrighted, better to be safe than sorry.

Just because books are on sale doesn't mean the material in them is protected by copy rights.  But it does get complicated. fairuse.stanford.edu/overview/…

Wow, that is pretty complicated! Thanks for the link. It sounds like a lot of older books may have had their copyright status expire which is why so many are on scribd. Who knows? Thanks again though!
