I feel like I HAVE to get this out there.
Being an Undertale fan, I absolutely DESPISE the idea of shipping who is essentially a child with otherwise older monsters and monsters period. From the pornography to the poorly written wish-fulfillments, it all just pushes me away.
HOWEVER!!
SomeHOW! SomeWAY!! YOU of all fanfiction workers made me actually give a shit about one of these ships! SOMEHOW XD I was introduced to a grittier AU imagining by a friend, and he kinda broke me, but your work, Stand-in, slammed the nail STRAIGHT through the coffin and somehow brought the corpse inside to life!(If that...makes sense.)
The writing, the humor, the conflict, the genuine moments. I was genuinely surprised when I started binging each comic up to the most recent. I love it and can't wait to see how it all wraps up~! >w< Sans x Frisk, the sheer thought of it usually making me gag, is written here in such a way that I was actively cheering for it. It feels....UNDERTALE. It feels so in the series character, I can't help but gush! And MAN, the way you took the meta-element that set the game apart and reworked it to fit in such a subtle way! I wasn't expecting it! AT ALL! And I love it to pieces!
Before, whenever I heard Undertale fanfiction, I basically made like Frisk and withdrew. Now though? Stand-in is the best I've seen, the first...well, second, but the first FAITHFULLY Undertale fic I've seen. I'm looking forward to reading the newer pages~!

To be honest, I seldom read any others' Undertale fan comics or fictions. Writing and drawing Stand-in comic is for my self-entertaining and healing. I just let myself freely ride with my own viewpoint of Undertale story. And I really appreciate you and so many people support and love the idea of the story and the characters.

As for using the meta-element, I think that's actually the same concept in the original game (by that means you can play around with the interface of your work's feature)
