Yeah, I'm still in AJROTC. It's awesome, as you probably know. We have our first Color Guard comp. of the year, we're a bit nervous but I think we'll do well.

yeah it was pretty hard to catch, so my secret behind it was i setup my manual mode to keep the shutter open for 8 seconds, and set my aperature opening to a high number to keep it from getting too light, putting it on a tripod helped as well. We're right in the path of Katrina coming in so i'm working on getting more photos of that and a documentary video of it.

yeah, we are in our 6th year right now (school inagurated in 1999). we got honor unit w/ distinction in 2002 when i was at the end of my fish year. we didnt have an inspection this year because the other 2 schools in our district got new SAIs, so it would just be too much strain on us. we have a good unit, bright kids, and a winning mentallity. i mean, shoot, we only practice 2 days a week! these other teams are 4-5 days a week! im not bragging, but we just have a good group and i'm proud of them. plus they make me look good

Well i'm glad that you had a good group of kids to work with...when i was in the program. We had a lot of kids that didn't want to be there, cause there parents thought it would be good for them. The thing is it's not Bootcamp, we can't physically make them do something. It's still school...we had plenty of kids that would just get up and walk out of class or cuss out an instructor. So we did the best with what we had.

well hello there. what school do you go to or did you go to? did u graduate? im the commander at plano west on our top male colorguard and top demilled armed drill team. we've won a few trophies lately. my colorguard has one a trophy at every single event except one (which was a fluke because the idiots didnt know what the hell they were doing!) and then our drill team has one trophies at the past 2 drill comps. we're startin to get good

Well i graduated in 04, but i used to go to Westfield High School in Texas. I was the Command Sergeant Major, I was also on the Color guard team. Our AJROTC program there was only 4 years old..we were just starting to get things together. We had our first Federal Inspection last year and we got Honor Unit...it sucked..we missed Honor Unit with Distinction by 8 points..we were so mad. The only team we had that won trophys was our Female Colorguard team...we've had 1 first place, 2 second place and 2 third place trophys. Not all that great, but it's a start.
