I am a self taught artist. I have been drawing all my life, but it wasn't until I was in my mid thirties that I begun to make a serious effort to grow in my techniques, abilities and artistic vision. I create art that is inspired by the natural world around us, the sea, the mountains, the creatures in our environment, and our connections, cultural or personal, to our immediate earthly surroundings. I work in ink, pencil, watercolor washes, acrylic, and pyrography/carving. I reside in blue Lake Ca.
